URGENT! – A PREREGISTRATION POSITION HAS ARISEN FOR 2008
One of our prospective pre-regs has dropped out of taking up a preregistration position starting August 2008 at St Mary’s Hospital, London Region. Therefore, we now have a vacancy.
No. of positions: 1
Training Bases: St Mary's Hospital. Rotations to Westminster PCT as well as Community Pharmacy cross sector placement.
Setting:
A fully structured training programme is provided with rotation through each department including Medicine Information, Production and Clinical. With five different pharmacies, there is plenty of variety and learning opportunities in paediatrics, ophthalmology, HIV plus automated dispensary and general out patients dispensary. CPD is strongly encouraged with attendance at regional study days, regular clinical tutorials, presentations and audit work. Clinical training provides experience in each specialty. Preregistration students are encouraged to stay on at St Mary's and undertake our junior pharmacist rotational training programme.
Location:
Two minutes walk from Paddington British Rail and Underground Station, and on several bus routes. Central London, excellent access to West End. Major shopping and theatre areas. Fabulous local pubs and parks. Pool and gym on site. Accommodation available. Limited parking.
